A woman from Brighouse, who requested not to be identified, completed a full house in 40 numbers and won the national bingo prize of £100,000 at the Mecca Club in Huddersfield. She is the mother of two children and apparently doesn’t play bingo very often.

Bingo machines for visually impaired players

Officials of a Bingo hall in Scotland announced that the club installed new bingo machines, which help people with a limited vision to play and enjoy the game. During a game, The Electronic Dabber (TED) machine has each number called “beamed” to players. Players must press a button after each call and if the number is on their card, it is automatically registered.

New Bingo Hall in tribal reservation

Two gaming facilities are being developed by the Muckleshoot Tribe near Auburn, Washington, one of which is a new Bingo Hall. The property under construction is being built on the Muckleshoot Reservation. The plan is that this Bingo Hall will operate opposite the Muckleshoot Casino, right across the street, and that the traditional tribal casino will no longer exist.

Kidnapping suspects arrested at Casino

Two kidnapping suspects, a man and a woman, were recently arrested at the Spotlight 29 Casino, in Coachella, California. Fernando Parada Laborin and Adriana Yesenia Arana, both 30 and residents of Phoenix, Arizona, were taken under police custody for kidnapping two Mexican citizens.
